I built this site to share product ideas that wouldn’t leave me alone.
Some of them have nothing to do with my day job. I saw a problem, spotted the gap, and started sketching a solution—because that’s just how my brain works. These aren’t corporate OKRs or vanity projects. They’re the kind of ideas I chase when no one else seems to be doing it.
Some are rough. Some are ready. But they’re all real, and they all reflect how I think about systems, impact, and unmet needs.
If one of them resonates? Steal it. Fund it. Or hand me the keys and let’s build something that actually works.
I’m Rachel Collett. Technically, my title is Product Manager. Realistically? I’m a walking system debug tool with opinions, receipts, and a whiteboard marker in my hair.
I spent two decades in project management—wrangling chaos, translating between humans and machines (and humans and humans), making sure things actually shipped and teams didn’t implode. Somewhere along the line, I stopped just managing timelines and budgets and started redesigning the systems behind them. Product became the natural evolution... same chaos, but now with more influence.
I’ve worked in edtech, publishing, credentialing, and API platforms. I don’t worship metrics, but I do believe in impact. I care more about why we’re building something than how flashy it looks in a demo. And I’ve written enough Jira tickets to ghostwrite your roadmap.
This site isn’t about my resume. It’s about the ideas I can’t stop thinking about—and the ones I’d build if someone just handed me the damn budget.

I’ve worked on global search weighting, identity and access management, SAML + OAuth support, APIs and SCORM, SaaS and DaaS, accessibility, and user profile redesigns. I've written hundreds of Jira tickets from Figma files and kept teams sane during the chaos.
Curious about one of these ideas?
Reach out—I’d love to hear what it sparks.
